I devised this multifunctional type of training for the purpose of improving endurance and body strength, making for a physically fit machine. SHOCK training will optimize your peak performance, also your mental toughness will intensify. Physical challenges that you have never ask of yourself before, will now be brought to your table.
SHOCK ZONE is my formulation of varied training methods from ‘old school’ to present. The workouts involve a series of drills and techniques gathered from Boxing, Wrestling, Powerlifting, Martial Arts, Football, Basketball, as well from my Military background.
Our bodies are adaptable machines, muscles are smart memory banks, they become wise to the fact that they are being trained the same way, day after day. We have all heard by now, "you have to shock the body to get results". If you do not change up your training, you will hit physical plateaus. Results take too long to occur if your muscles are not being challenged. Your body needs to be SHOCKED out of its daily routine!
Everyone aspires to be in the best shape possible. We all want to live long, we also want to look exceptionally fit. The answer to achieve physical results (as you know) is to keep shocking the body. [Hence, the name SHOCK ZONE was born] My SHOCK ZONE training undoubtedly targets every muscle group, you will be worked to the bone.
Your body and mind will be tested beyond its known capabilities. SHOCK ZONE combines Interval Training along with Strength Training by using different athletic movements, and also by incorporating hybrid exercise equipment.
As a Boxing Coach & Trainer, SHOCK ZONE has proven greatly beneficial for my Boxers. Reason being; in the boxing ring the Boxer always seems to be just a few pints low of stamina. The Boxer should not wait to find out if he can last or outlast. I believe an athlete should be able to perform at their highest peak at any given moment. In the boxing world, I believe as do many, that boxing is 80% conditioning. I have proven it when my guys compete, they do not get tired in the ring.
The big BUT everyone faces -- in order to stick with any exercise regimen, it must be fore- most motivating, and definitely not be monotonous. Try a class and see (feel) for yourself, no boredom to be found in my arena!
SHOCK ZONE training will keep your muscles guessing, your body will be given no options, causing it to react to the demands called upon it. It is tough training, your motivation will soar to the max, because the training will be continually changing. Every week I change up the workouts - making it exciting and fun for all.
